Reasonably Suspicious

You doubted some of the true ones, which is a perfectly sensible instinct given how much invented wildlife trivia is in circulation. The trouble with animals is that reality regularly outdoes the fiction, so scepticism alone will not sort the pile. What does sort it is asking who measured the thing and where it was published. Every correct answer here survives that question, and several of the myths collapse the moment it is asked.

“I ran the animal facts round and learned which unbelievable ones are true.”

Field Notes Kept

A solid haul. You recognised the classic myths and were less certain about the genuinely peculiar biology, which is the harder half. Nobody grows up expecting a marsupial to produce cubes or a mammal to hunt by electric field, and those facts had to be measured before anyone would accept them. You are now carrying several of the most reliably surprising things in zoology, which is a good week's work.

“Field notes kept on the animal round, myths spotted and biology learned.”
🔬

Sound Naturalist

Very good. You are separating documented oddity from folklore, and that is a harder distinction than it looks, because both arrive in the same breathless tone. Knowing that goldfish learn and remember, and that bats have working eyes, means you have already discarded two claims that survive in ordinary speech decades after being tested and found wrong. That is the useful skill; the fun facts come free with it. Both survive in ordinary speech long after being tested and dropped.

“Sound naturalist: documented oddity in one pile, folklore in the other.”
🥇

Would Survive a Viva

Excellent. A near-clean run through questions where the wrong options were chosen precisely because they are widely believed. You know the anatomy, you know the shape of the evidence, and you did not flinch at the ones that sound absurd. People who score at this level tend to be the ones quietly fact-checking the narrator during a wildlife programme, and the animal kingdom is better represented for it. The narrator, on balance, deserves the interruption.

“Near-perfect on the animal facts nobody believes. The cubes are real.”
